A little bit of Funk with a whole lotta Soul, FunkNut is an organ based quartet whose one mission is to bring Funk to the ears of men, woman, and children! Driving beats, and thick grooves, are gonna keep you dancing till the sun comes up!

The new recipe for FUNKNUT is as follows: 1/3 cup of Tony G on the keys, 1/3 cup of Tristan Greene on the drums and 1/3 cup of Sean McLay on the bass. Add a touch of soul, a pinch of funk, stir it all together and you got a fresh batch of FUNKNUT. Formed in February 2008, the group has been playing festivals, colleges and clubs all over the east coast. The goal is to connect with people through hard funk and improvisation. Each show is unique from the next, whether its special guests at each stop or rearranging the songs, every night is different.
