Sabrina Gauer is an acoustic singer/songwriter from the Rochester, NY area. She has more than 13 years of touring, recording, supporting acts such as Jesse Sprinkle, The New Divide, Jeff Carl, and others, and working on her solo albums as well as leading worship. Sabrina has continued to follow her passion for music while navigating through career changes, life’s challenges, and most recently, an oral cancer diagnosis and subsequent surgery to remove and reconstruct half of her tongue. She is now cancer-free, and learning to thrive in her new normal while driving awareness to alternative healing, staying true to yourself, and the beauty in survivorship.
Hailing from the Western Highlands of Connecticut, the east coast of Scotland, the Appalachians and Los Angeles, and meeting in the middle, Ann Arbor based Ensoleil forms a truly diverse quartet. Combining their traditional and contemporary Irish, Scottish, Québecois, and New England influences with original tunes and songs, Ensoleil brings excitement to dances, festivals, and farmer’s markets abound.
Christine Hedden (fiddles), Nadine Dyskant-Miller (flute & feet), Annika Socolofsky (fiddle & voice) and Tanner Porter (cello & voice) are composers, students and graduates of the University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance.
